Ingredients

- 200g of sliced speck (smoked prosciutto)
- 1 shallot (or 1/2 red onion)
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- sliced white bread (choose a crusty loaf with a soft dense center, like ciabatta)

If desired, remove the fat from the speck, then put it in a food processor or blender and mince it

Cut the shallot in pieces and add them to the mixer. Mince everything together.

Put the speck and the chopped shallot in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Combine them. Add more mayo as you like

Spread the creme on the sliced bread and warm it in the oven at 180°C (360F) for about 5 to 10 min. The bread should be crispy and the creme hot (not burned!). Serve hot.
